One of the Building Better Communities initiatives was to literally rebuild the homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina. The area was overwhelmed with damaged or deserted homes. This group wanted to return people, light and hope to those areas. This logo depicts the “weathered” house and the one-again-illuminated home. A square version (above) and a 4-house horizontal version (not shown) of this mark were developed.
