Many churches want a printed piece that they can give to visitors who ask for more information. The typical pitfalls of a “visitor packet” are twofold: you can overwhelm someone with a hodgepodge of ministry info or you can provide a lot of “fluff” that really doesn’t answer common questions. A successful piece means careful editing on the content, creating visuals consistent with those that people encounter throughout your physical space and reading the same “voice” that they hear during a weekend experience.
This client chose to use a card system (modeled after other info packets I’ve created for other clients). The beauty of this solution is that content is constrained by the size of the card and the number of cards. The consistency makes the information easier to digest and, in the event of changes to ministries, only the affected card needs to be reprinted and replaced.
